Yoga and Chill Skills at Ballakermeen
What a lovely end to the day on Thursday for the Year 7 yoga club.
We enjoyed some all important relaxation time together and challenged ourselves with warriors, trees, eagles and bridges before having some fun with partner shoulder stands and then settled down to our ‘savasana’ in a circle.
Yoga Club is currently Mondays for Years 8-11, Thursdays for Year 7 and Fridays for Years 12/13.
A few spaces are left in each group and it would be great to also see more boys coming along!
There is also the opportunity for Year 8 to sign up to a 6 week yoga course taking place in PSHE time after half term and Year 10 and 11 are all having a ‘chill skills’ taster session this term to give them ideas on how to reduce exam stress.
