Patrick House: January Update
December is usually an eventful time of the school year, and this year is no different!
We had the Anthony Nolan association visit us in assembly talking about stem cells and blood donations, which inspired many of our students to get involved in raising money for the charity.
We also had our infamous Ballakermeen Christmas market, where we held our own Patrick prefect stand. It included fun games like tombola and guess the name of the reindeer . We raised a fair amount that evening so thank you to those who participated.
Along with the Christmas market always comes the creation of beautiful hampers to win! Patrick tutor groups made some fantastic hampers—including themes such as Disney or Cadbury—so well done and thank you to those who contributed, the hampers have made their way to fabulous new homes!
Recently we held a Christmas tie sale to raise money for Hospice. Many students bought them and we had a day where our students could show them off. So thank you to the people who purchased one, it’s going to a good cause.
