The Anti-Bullying Ambassador programme is part of the charity, The Diana Award. The Diana Award was founded as a legacy to Diana, Princess of Wales’ belief that young people have the power to change the world for the better.
On Tuesday 12 March 14 of our amazing students received training in order to fulfil their role as anti-bullying ambassadors for Ballakermeen. They took park in a full day of training with a variety of activities all based around helping them understand bullying and how to raise awareness and provide support in school. They came up with lots of ideas themselves and are very keen for their next event to include raising awareness with primary school children who will be coming up to Ballakermeen.
